The main objective of the company is to service the indigenous community with plumbing services that will also deliver training and employment opportunities for Indigenous people.
NUDJ wished to differentiate itself as being considered “just another plumber” by having a clear vision to positively impact on Indigenous Australians through training, mentoring and personal development.
The Aboriginality component of our company is integral to the breaking down of barriers in the community, which aim to heighten cultural awareness in the wider community.
To provide plumbing apprenticeship opportunities for indigenous people from rural and remote communities in the Kimberley, allowing the provision of plumbing services to remote and non-remote communities of the Kimberley and Pilbara Regions.
To deliver high quality plumbing services to indigenous communities including improved sanitation, water management services and the training and development of indigenous Australians.
How We Are Different
We use our community connections, local knowledge and remote area logistics capability to serve all communities of the Kimberley and Pilbara regions.
Indigenous rural and remote community based plumbing capabilities improve through our apprenticeship opportunities for Indigenous people.
